What the first session looks like
Therapy begins with an open-ended, “getting- to- know-you” session.
We will discuss your motivations for therapy, your current symptoms, and goals for your treatment.
Together we will decide on a treatment plan that meets you where you are.

Meeting you where you are
Most clients choose to come to therapy at the same time every week, but I can be flexible with your appointments if that’s what you need.
Evening appointments are available, as are home visits for pre- and postpartum women.
If you are currently receiving medication, I will consult with the professionals involved in your care to ensure a coordinated treatment plan for your physical and mental well-being.
I can also refer you to a psychiatrist if needed.
I can come to you
I am available for consultations to schools, organizations, and religious institutions.
I also can visit you at home if you are a mom who finds it difficult to leave your house while pregnant or with a new baby.
